American supremacies at Trenton and Princeton were very significant to the Americans due to the fact that they destroyed British plans for an instantaneous conclusion to the war. These victories boost the confidence of Americans that they could stand up against the British armies in the battle. Moreover, it prompted people to engage in the Continental Army.
