The temperature started at 87°F. If the temperature went down 10°F and then up 17°F, whats is the temperature difference relative to the low temperature? A) -17°F B) -10°F C) 10°F D) 17°F

The answer is D. 17F because it dropped down to 10F which brings it down to 77F, back up to 17F which brings it to 94F. to differentiate how much it gone up from 77F is still 17F so 17F is the answer
