3n = 11+2 (n+2) n= lesser number
3n = 11+2n+4. (n+2)= greater number
3n = 15+2n
3n-2n=15
n=15
15×3 =11+((15+2)×2)
the numbers are 15 and 17

Answer:

Smaller is 15 and greater is 17

Explanation:

Let the lesser of the two consecutive odd numbers be x

then greater will be x+2 .

three times of lesser = 3x

two times of greater = 2(x +2)

11 more than 2x = 11+2(x+2)

according to the question .

3x = 11 +2(x+2)

3x= 11 +2x+4

3x-2x = 15

x = 15

Smaller is 15 and greater is 17
