Hitler was a very powerful man. He was a fascist, and had a lot of influence on the people. Hitler was a very successful leader, but he refused to be a dictator. Hitler was strong and fearless. He had an iron grip and held no sympathy. This left the people of Germany scared and shaken into accepting him as their leader. The people had been weak and hurt from their defeat and blame of the war and easily influenced.
Hitler, as influential as he was, was weak. He may have had strength to rule over others, but what he really used was manipulation. He saw the people defeated and humiliated and acted upon them. Hitler dealt with his new found power by taking drugs and going wild with accusations. He wasn't the only one but he was the one that ruled in fear and put sadists in line to torture those that opposed him.
The United States should have listened to the signs. They should've taken action at the first sign of trouble. They didn't and that led to thousands dying and fighting against an evil force. So for the future, it would be recommended that at the first sign of things going bad, the US should take action and immediately put a stop to it.
