Greetings!

"Solve for P:
P-14/3=-5/6."...

P-14/3=-5/6
Add 14/3 to both sides.

(P-14/3)+14/3=(-5/6)+14/3
Simplify.

P=(-5/6)+14/3
Find a common denominator for (-5/6)+14/3.

P=(-5/6)+28/6
Simplify.

P=23/6

The variable p, is equal to 23/6 or 3 5/6.

Hope this helps.
