Greetings!

"How do I find the surface area of a right circular cone?"...

The formula to find the surface area of a right cone is :

=\pi r(r+ \sqrt h^2+r^2)

Lets it out:

r=5 and
h=12

=\pi(5)((5)+ \sqrt (12)^2+(5)^2)
Follow PEDMAS.

=\pi(5)((5)+ \sqrt 169)

=\pi(5)((5)+ 13)

=\pi(5)(18)

=15.7079633(18)

=282.743339

The SA of the cone would be 282.743339.

Hope this helps.
