First of all solve the fractions
1/5(15x - 20) = 3x - 4
1/3(12x - 9) = 4x - 3
3x - 4 = 4x - 3
Now you can move the X's to one side;
-4 = 4x - 3 - 3x
...And the same for the numbers;
-4 + 3 = 4x - 3x
Then solve;
x = -1
