(4 - 4)*4 + 4 = 4

You can think of this problem in multiple ways. First of all, you can use three 4s to equal zero; then, you add four and the final product will be 4. Any number times zero is always zero. So we subtract 4 from 4 to equal zero. Finally, we add four.
