According to Benét the beliefs which are essential for our government system are: Free speech, Assembly, Elections and Practice of Religion. He thinks these are the cornerstones of the government.
Stephen Vincent Benét who was born in 1898 and lived for 45 year, died in 1943 was a multitalented writer who won Pulitzer Prize for John Brown's Body.
