There are 9 more children than parents in the room there are 25 people in the room in all how many children are there in the room

what are the unknowns in this problem?
1.the total number of children and the total of parents in the room
2.the total number of children in the room
3.the total number of parents in the room
4.the total number of people in a room

the unknowns should be 1 or 3. we don't know the total number of children and parents in the room, but we have a clue which 25, so if we were to subtract 9 from 25 we would get 16. i would recommend number 1
