What is the answer to this? And what is my first step in PEMDAS?

Multiply
Divide
Addition
Subtraction

You solve (-3/-.5) first which gets you 6, then you add -8 which gets you -2,

first step is do the parentheses ( -3÷-.5) = 6
6+-8=-2
