FDR's economic policy and developed programs, known as the New Deal, included regulation of the banks, regulation of the Stock Market, relief measures, and public works programs, like the CCC and WPA. FDR instilled confidence in the American public from the start of his administration with his promise to help the economy with the three R's, relief, recovery, and reform. He had Congress enact many New Deal agencies and work programs. If something didn't work,

It made the government way more interactive because president Hoover(the previous president) believed that the government should let the economy do its own thing and when Roosevelt tried to solve the problem it made the government a lot more human and a lot more involved
