Density = mass/volume Mass = 8.5 g Volume can calculated in this case with Archimede's princple. We assume that the density of water is 1 g/mL. 26.47 mL - 21.25 mL = 5.22 mL Density = 8.5 g/5.22 mL = 1.6 g/mL
