v^2 = u^2 - 2gs

Where:

V = final velocity

g = gravity

u= initial velocity

s= height

At s max, V =0

0^2 = 2.2^2 - 2 g 1.2

2 g 1.2 = 4.84

2.4 g = 4.84

g= 4.84/2.4

g= 2.01 m/s^2
