Add 8 to both sides.
Then, multiply both sides by 4.
Simplify.
2(r - 3) = 232
Simplify.
2r - 6 = 232
Add 6 to both sides.
2r = 232 + 6
Simplify.
2r = 238
Divide both sides by 2.
r = 119
