In this case, we'll have to carry out several steps to find the solution.

Step 01:

Data

point (4 , 9) x1 = 4 y1 = 9

slope = m = 5

Step 02:

Point-slope form of the line

(y - y1) = m (x - x1)

(y - 9) = 5 (x - 4)

y - 9 = 5x - 20

y = 5x - 20 + 9

y = 5x - 11

The answer is:

y = 5x - 11
