By definition, an orchard is "a piece of land planted with fruit trees."

I believe the use of the word is pretty clear once you know its meaning. It is a fruitful land. It can be used as a metaphor, I supposed, for many things that might be profitable or beneficial in many ways.

Dome is even more clear: "a rounded vault forming the roof of a building or structure, typically with a circular base."

Is is a separation, protection, or incarceration, depending on the context.
