Area of semicircle=
\pi
R is radius
So half of D is the radius, which is 14cm
So the answer is=
\pi x 14²
= 196

Normal circle area is πr², which is (d/2)²π.
That makes your case 14²π divided by 2 is 196π/2=98π cm²
