To answer this, both the divisor and dividend need to be converted to improper fractions. The first would be 13/4 and the second would become 11/8, so now the whole question reads as "[13/4] / [11/8]". To continue, the divisor needs to have its reciprocal found, which is 8/11 in this case. Then, the whole problem is multiplied: 13/4 * 8/11 gives 104/44 if both the numerators and denominators are multiplied. Reducing this gives 2 + 16/44, or 2 + 4/11 when fully reduced.
