Well if $1=82 than $100 (which is 100 times 1) would equal 82·100=8,200
$1,000·82=82,000
$10,000·82=820,000 :) hope this helps!

82 Yen = US$1
82 Yen × 100=8200 Yen = US$100
82 Yen × 1000=82000 Yen = US$1000
82 Yen × 10000=820000 Yen = US$10000
