mk+mq=x
Expand.
m×k+m×q=x
m(k+q)=x
Divide by k+q on both sides to get
m=x/(k+q)
That's your answer. Hope this helped!

mk+mq=x
we need to isllate the m, so we will take it as a common factor from both terms
m(k+q) = x
we will then divide both sides by k+q to get the value of m
m = x / (k+q)
