Solution:

Total number of bag into which peanut has been kept = 6

Also, total number of peanut = p = 342

Number of peanut in each bag =


(342)/(6)=57

So, each of the six bag carries 57 peanuts.

We have 342 peanutes equally divided among 6 bags.
to know how many peanuts each bag contained, we will simply divide the total number of peanuts by the number of bags as follows:
numbef of peanuts in each bag = 342/6
= 57 peanuts
