G^2 – 9 factor each expression please help

Using the difference of squares rule, we can say
g^2 - 9 = g^2 - 3^2
g^2 - 9 = (g-3)(g+3)


So, the answer is (g-3)(g+3). This is the same as (g+3)(g-3)
