the given expression is,

56 /(-14)

\begin{gathered} =(56)/(-14) \\ =-4 \end{gathered}

so the answer is -4.

you can check the answer

by multiplying the (-14) to -4,

\begin{gathered} (56)/(-14)=-4 \\ 56=-14*-4 \\ 56=56 \end{gathered}

LHS = RHS so we use the expression -14 x -4 to check the answer.
