Each number on the right-hand column of the table is being doubled each time. Another way to perform multiplying by 2, is dividing by 1/2, or 0.5.

This would make your answer the first option, "Divide the previous term by 0.5".

To double check, you can always divide each value by 0.5 and see if the answer is correct, so 100 ÷ 0.5 = 200, 200 ÷ 0.5 = 400, etc.
