The Distributive Property
is an algebra
property
which is used to multiply a single term and two or more terms inside a set of parentheses.
6
× 42 = 6 × (40 + 2) = (6 × 40) + (6 × 2) = 240 + 12 = 252
Hence, the answer is D.
