'faster' means a greater speed

speed=distance/time

the dimensions are units of distance and units of time

Tortoise A has a distance of 52ft per 1 hour or 52ft/1hr
Tortoise B has a distance of 12in per 1 min or 12in/1min

we need to convert them to the same units

let's convert the speed to inches/min

1ft=12 inches
52ft=52*12in=624in

1hr=60min

52ft/1hr=624in/60min=52in/5min=10.4in/1min

Tortoise A walks 10.4in/1min
Tortoise B walks 12in/1min

12in>10.4in

Tortoise B walks faster
