Answer: 25 vanilla ice creams

Explanation:

Given : One out of every five people who buy ice cream buys vanilla ice cream.

i.e. Fraction of people buy vanilla =
(1)/(5)

If a store sells 125 ice cream cones in one day, then by using multiplication operation the number of vanilla ice cream sold :-

\text{Fraction of people buy vanilla}*\text{Total ice-cream sold}\\\\=(1)/(5)*125=25

Hence, About 25 vanilla ice creams sells in one day.
