Chicken noodle soup would be a heterogeneous mixture because it is made up of several different components that are not similar. The components are all different textures and consistencies yet once together they do form a soup. Heterogeneous mixtures are defined as a mixture that composes of components that aren't uniform or they have localized regions that all have different properties. Chicken soup fits the description of that type of mixture completely.
