Dr Carson should stimulate the PARIETAL LOBE section of the brain.
The parietal lobe aspect of the brain is the one that is largely responsible for sensory processes.
Parietal lobe also function in language and attention span. The parietal lobe is divided into right and left parts. Damage to the right parietal lobe may result in difficulty in navigating spaces and damage to the left side of the lobe may result in impairment in ability to understand written or spoken words.
