There are three levels of prevention is used by a nurse in school namely: The Primary prevention, where nurse is providing education to prevent health problems in children, promoting health to children/students. The Secondary prevention where the nurse is caring for children when they need health care. And the Tertiary prevention care when children/students have long-term or chronic illnesses or with special needs which is a continued long-term health care.
