Greetings!

"Solving equation:
6x+7=8x-13?"...

Solve for x.

6x+7=8x-13
Add 13 to both sides.

(6x+7)+13=(8x-13)+13
Simplify

6x+20=8x
Subtract both sides by 6x.

(6x+20)-6x=(8x)-6x
Simplify.

20=2x
Divide both sides by 2.

(20)/2=(2x)/2
Simplify.

10=x

The answer would be 10.

Hope this helps.
