h = s - 53
s + s - 53 = 123
2s - 53 = 123
2s = 123 + 53
2s = 176
s = 176/2
s = 88 <=== 88 sodas sold
h = s - 53
h = 88 - 53
h = 35 <== 35 hotdogs sold
