First work out whats in the parentheses
= 7/3 + 3(1/3)^2
= 7/3 + 3 * 1/9
= 7/3 + 1/3
= 8/3 answer

= 7/3 + 3(1/3)^2
= 7/3 + 3(1/9)
= 7/3 +1/3
= 8/3
