Look at my answer!It is much easier.
3>=5-2x
3-5>=5-2x-5 (-2>=-2x)
-2/-2<=-2x/-2
-1<=x

I think what you would do is add 2x to the other side so you have 2x+3 is greater than or equal to 5. Subtract 3 and then divide by 2 and you are left with x is greater than or equal to 1
