I'm thinking you want us to solve for m when n=-2 and 2 and 4

let's solve for m first
minus 1 from both sides then divide by -3

m=(8n-1)/(-3)

so for n=-2

m=(8(-2)-1)/(-3)=(-16-1)/(-3)=(-17)/(-3)=(17)/(3)
when n=-2, m=17/3

for n=2

m=(8(2)-1)/(-3)=(16-1)/(-3)=(15)/(-3)=-5
m=-5 when n=2

for n=4

m=(8(4)-1)/(-3)=(32-1)/(-3)=(31)/(-3)=(-31)/(3)
m=-31/3 when n=4

8n = -3m + 1
n = -2, 2,4
first add -2, 2 and 4 which = 4
then do 8(4) = -3m +1 which makes 24 = -3m +1 so subtract 1 on both sides then you have 23 = -3m divde -3 on both sides which equal -7.66 or 8
