Answer:A lysosome is a membrane sac that contains enzymes. These enzymes are used to digest or break down large molecules into smaller molecules to be used by the cell.

Explanation: Lysosomes and the enzymes they contain are both made in the rough endoplasmic reticulum and then transferred to the Golgi apparatus for further processing.

Lysosomes are organelles that contain digestive enzymes, (they digest worn out food, bacteria, organelles, among others).
A more simpler way:
Their function is to remove the waist, a very similar thing is our intestines!
