8x+3

Combine like terms! Multiply the 3 by the 2x and 1 as well, since it is in parenthesis.

remembe, distributive property
a(b+c)=ab+ac
so
for 3(2x+1), that is 3(2x)+3(1)=6x+3

so
2+3(2x+1)+2x+1=
2+6x+3+2x+1=
6x+2x+2+3+1=
8x+6
