What is the approximate value of q in the equation below.

q+logbase2 6=2q+2

I have chosen -1.613 but it was wrong apparently.

q+logbase2 6=2q+2
The binary logarithm of 6 is 2.585 .
2q - q = 2.585 - 2
q = 0.585
