Susan works as a hostess where she makes $8.75 per hour. She also babysits and earns $10.00 per hour. Last week she made $165.00. If she worked 6 hours more as a hostess than she did babysitting, how many hours did she babysit last week? Write a system of liner equations to solve!

We will let x= time babysitting

y= time hostessing

8.75x+10y=165

We know that x+6=y

So we have

8.75x+10(x+6)=165

18.75x+60=165

18.75x=105
