r : b = 5 : 7
r + b = 108
----------------
7 r = 5 b
b = 7 r / 5
r + 7 r / 5 = 108 / * 5
5 r + 7 r = 540
12 r = 540
r = 540 : 12
r = 45
Answer: There are
45
red ones in the jar.
