Hypothesis is making a prediction about the experiment before doing the experiment.
The independent variable is where you can change the variable anytime throughout the experiment.
The dependent variable is where the variable is caused by the independent variable. The dependent variable depends on the independent variable for the outcome.
A controlled variable is where it stays the same throughout the whole experiment.
