One movie club charges a $100 membership fee and $10 for each movie. Another club charges no membership fee but movies cost $15 each. Write and solve an equation to find the number of movies you need to buy for the cost of each movie club to be the same.

y=10x+100
The second movie club is
y=15x
You can set them equal to each other getting 15x=10x+100
Subtract the 10x from both sides
5x=100
X=20 or the number of movies needed to make the amount be the same is 20 movies
