It would be -36 / -4 + 9, or 18.

So here, the first statement is 9 more, so you could change that to +9.

The next statement is the quotient of -36 and -4, which would just be -36 / -4.

So just add the two together to get -36 / -4 + 9.

To find the solution of this, use PEMDAS, or the order of operations.

So do -36 / -4 first, which would result in 9 because that's how many negative fours there are in -36, resulting in 9 + 9.

9 + 9 is 18.

(-36/-4) + 9 =
9 + 9 =
18
