Note that
1 km = 0.62 mi
Therefore
0.62 mi = 10³ m
1 mi = 1.6129 x 10³ m

Also,
1 h = 3600 s

The given speed is

(14,000 \, (mi)/(h) )*( (1.6129 * 10^(3) \, m)/(mi) )*( (h)/(3600 \, s) ) = 6.27 * 10^(3) \, (m)/(s) \approx 6.3 * 10^(3) \, (m)/(s)

Answer: A. 6.3 x 10³ m/s
