People in poor countries may have difficulties achieving economic growth because they must cut back on current consumption to increase capital goods.
For this reason, they cannot grow economically at all, because they have to save up a lot of money and consume less so that they can increase their capital goods. They need to think about their working politics more if they want not to be poor anymore.
