Here's your equation: 10(x/2) + 6 = 8

10(x/2)+6=8
subtract 6 on both sides
10(x/2) = 2
divide by 10 on both sides, simplify 2/10 to 1/5
x/2 = 1/5
multiply 2 on both sides
x=2/5
