Hence the function willbe of the form


f(x) = |x-1|+k

To find k

When x=1, we find the graph has a minimum at (1,-2.5)

Substitute x=1 to find f(1)

f(1) = |1-1|+k=0+k=k

Since f(1) = -2.5 from the graph we have

k =-2.5
