The perimeter of the rectangle is 64cm, since Edmond has two equallu sized triangles of plywood, we can conclude:

\begin{gathered} P=224\operatorname{cm} \\ P_t=(224)/(2)=112\operatorname{cm} \end{gathered}

The perimeter of each triangle is 32cm

Let's find x using pythagorean theorem:

\begin{gathered} x=\sqrt[]{w^2+l^2} \\ x=\sqrt[]{55^2+48^2} \\ x=73 \end{gathered}

Therefore:

\begin{gathered} P=48ft+55ft+73ft \\ P=176ft \end{gathered}
