at the park there is a pool shaped like a circle with radius 12yd. A ring shaped path goes around the pool. It's width is 5yd. We are going to give a new layer of coating to the path. If 1 gallon of coating can cover 4 yd^2, how many gallons of coating do we need? Note that coating comes only by the gallon, so the number of gallons must be a whole number. (Use the value 3.14 for pi)

check the picture below.

so, the path is then 145π yd², and one gallon can cover 4 yd², so, we'll need then 145π/4, which is around 113.88, which can be rounded up to 114 gallons of coating.
